Youth Trades Academy

This Academy is open to all Lane County students who are participating in our BOLI-approved Lane pre-apprenticeship program. LanePact.

These students are looking to expand their knowledge in the trades with extended hands-on experiences.  

Each trade is graciously sending us their apprenticeship instructors so students get an authentic experience. I will also be accompanying these instructors throughout the academy on LCC campus.

This year the YTA includes the Electricians, Carpenters, Sheetmetal/HVAC, and Plumbers/Steamfitters trades.  We will be hosting 2 groups Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and an all-day Friday so we can include more students
