2021 has 5.9% of Douglas County residents unemployed

Douglas County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 2,736 people out of the 110,680 living in Douglas County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Douglas County has remained fairly stable compared to the 5.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Douglas County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.6%.
