85.7% of Curry County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 23,234 citizens living in Curry County in 2021, 85.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 19,902 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 9,920 were male, constituting 49.8%, and 9,982 were female, making up 50.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Curry County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79.2%.
