There was an unchanged number of registered sex offenders living in Curry County in July compared to the previous month, according to the Oregon Sex Offender Registry.

There were four sex offenders registered in Curry County in July.

The Registry shows 54-year-old William Eugene Mincey was the youngest sex offender living in Curry County in July.

David Anthony Saucedo was the oldest at 67-years-old.

Oregon has the highest population-adjusted rate of sex offenders – about 749 per 100,000 people.

In 2020, about 11,487 unique victims of child abuse were reported in Oregon, but studies of victims have shown less than 30% of sex crimes are reported to law enforcement.
