Angel Mendoza from Tohopekaliga High School in Florida has signed with the UCC Track & Field team to compete in the pole vault. Angel has consistently been improving his mark, and has currently gone over 13ft. Angel took 5th at the conference meet during his sophomore year, and took 2nd at the conference championships his junior year, and his senior season has just begun.
We are excited to continue growing our pole vault crew at UCC. There is no doubt that Angel will make strong contributions to the team, and we look forward to welcoming him as a RiverHawk in the fall.
