North Bend Partners for No-Cost LED Lighting Upgrade Program

This collaboration will be introducing a No-Cost LED Lighting Upgrade Program to benefit North Bend businesses, manufacturers, community organizations, churches, and similar buildings.

The City of North Bend, North Bend Urban Renewal Agency, North Bend Main Street Program, and the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce have teamed up with Energy Trust of Oregon to bring energy upgrades, and resulting bill savings, to the community.

Energy-efficient lighting reduces energy use, so you save on utility bills, lowering monthly operating costs. Modern LED light improves light quality and consistency, resulting in brighter, safer spaces. And, LEDs are long-lasting, which decreases maintenance costs and time spent on replacements.

Your North Bend business or organization is eligible if it is:

Located in Oregon in an existing commercial building, multifamily property, or industrial

facility and served by Pacific Power, and

You have less than 20 employees, or

Your business space is less than 20,000 sq. ft. (includes all buildings on site), or

You are a community organization that provides free or reduced-cost food, housing, health, economic or social services, or a religious center/place of worship

While most types of sites and lights will qualify, some may not. Energy Trust will provide the lights and the contractors to do the work.

Starting this month, our team will be conducting walk-throughs in North Bend to assess lights – indoor and outdoor – for eligibility for free LED upgrades. Lighting and building energy experts will be able to answer any building energy questions you might have.
