Roseburg Public Library invites the public to join us at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5, for a Facebook Live streaming event about the history of Umpqua Dairy.
Umpqua Dairy is a family owned company that distributes dairy products across the U.S. from the heart of Roseburg. Founded in 1931 by Ormond Feldkamp and Herb Sullivan with just $500, Umpqua Dairy has grown into one of the largest dairy companies in Oregon.
Tune in as Marketing Specialist Tina Jochum discusses the dairy production industry and evolution of Umpqua Dairy over the years.
The virtual presentation will be livestreamed at Facebook.com/RoseburgLibrary. A Facebook account is not required to attend.
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A moderated by library staff. Speaker questions may be submitted before the event to Lydia Rathe at lrathe@cityofroseburg.org or 541-492-7052. Alternately, viewers who have a Facebook account may post questions during the event by commenting on the live stream.
