This is from Megan Lawrence, A Former Employee in Planning Department

Speaker

Many of you are aware that Kyle and Ella were involved in the weather related accident with a log truck south of Bandon yesterday. By the grace of god, Ella is physically unharmed. Kyle had dozens of local angels preforming miracles on him yesterday and was airlifted to OHSU in Portland, where he remains in stable but critical condition. He has a large team of amazing doctors and nurses caring for him around the clock and is right where he needs to be.

I am with him in Portland, due to Covid no other visitors will be allowed entry to the hospital or ICU. My sister has flown in to be with me, so I am not alone when I’m not with Kyle and our families are caring for Ella while we are in Portland. Kyle is alert and responsive this morning but is intubated and heavily sedated/in a lot of pain. He is not out of the woods yet, and has several surgeries ahead of him. Prayers, or other spiritual preferences, for strength, healing, and wisdom for our family and Kyle’s medical team are appreciated. I am overwhelmed with the care and love of what feels like the entire south coast, and appreciate it all, but cannot keep up. I will update as I’m able.
