The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Alek Skarlatos, Alek for Oregon, refunded $5,800 to Mark Newhagen on June 11, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Earmarked contributions to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Alek for Oregon has refunded $12,800 total since Jan. 1.
